Subaru Impreza is unusual amongst smaller hatch style cars. It comes with the brilliant Subaru Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system and that sets it apart from the others.
In recent weeks I’ve driven the entry model and the top spec model. Both have the core underlying quality that Subaru is well known for.
The major difference obviously is in features.
However, even the base model comes with the full set of safety features. Another feature I like is the large 11.6-inch central touch screen. This comes with wireless smart phone mirroring and connectivity.
Also, even the base model comes with wireless charging. It also comes with surround camera system. Again that is class leading.
The Impreza comes with a 2.0Litre 4-cylinder boxer engine. It has power of 116 kilowatts and torque of 196 Newton metres available. This is transferred to all four wheels through an eight step CVT.
Its smooth and easy to drive with good ride and handling. Everything about the Impreza has a premium feel.
This is the 6th generation of Impreza and they are priced from $31,490 through to $37,990 dollars plus the usual costs
