Best of 2023 – ŠKODA Kodiaq RS Review

We revisit the Skoda Kodiaq RS from 2023

ŠKODA Kodiaq RS –  ŠKODA Kodiaq is a mid to large size SUV that comes with a choice of engine options. Last week I drove the sporty RS version.

2022 KODIAQ RS upgrade - Mar 2022This is a stylish and practical family SUV that is priced from around $75,000 dollars drive away.

The RS version has extra features like leather seats that are both heated and ventilated in the front, 20 inch alloy wheels and matrix LED headlights.

Other clever ŠKODA features include door edge protectors that fold out when the doors are opened, luggage hooks in the boot area and rear door window shades.

The large 9.2 inch central screen has excellent resolution and the virtual dash adds a layer on class not often found in this price range. Wireless smart phone connectivity and charging are appreciated.

The RS comes with a more powerful two litre turbo petrol engine and a seven-speed direct shift transmission and all- wheel drive traction. Its sporty and fun to drive as well as economical.

There is also multiple drive mode options available.

The Kodiaq RS is better as a five-seat family SUV but has two extra seats available when needed. It’s a little different to other SUVs in this segment and I like that.

Also look at. Kodiaq RS

Sporty seven seat SUVs are not all that common. However there are plenty of normal such vehicles.

Buyers could look at Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Peugeot 5008 GT,, Subaru Outback XT, Toyota Kluger Hybrid
