Best of 2023 – Genesis GV70 2.5T Luxury Sportline Review

Is the Genesis GV70 any good

Genesis GV70 2.5T AWD SUV Luxury and Sportline – Genesis GV70 sits in a competitive segment of medium sized SUV’s. I drove the 2.5T Luxury Sport Line version and really enjoyed it.

With a sleek coupe like design, sleek lines, and almost perfect size, the GV70 gets it all about right.,

Having both the Luxury and Sport Line option packs means that this model has everything Genesis could throw in the car.

It shows. Inside its luxury comfort all the way.

Sumptuous Nappa Leather seats, with 18 way electric adjustment for the driver along with an oh so relaxing massage function.

Large central screen, heads up Display, rear outer heated seats and 3 way climate control air conditioning are just a few of the comfort features.

The GV70 is powered by a 2.5L turbo petrol engine. It provides 224 kilowatts of power and 422 Newton metres of torque. This is the all-wheel drive version and comes with an eight speed sports automatic transmission.

It’s a sporty package, not fast but responsive and reasonably economical.

The Genesis GV70 2.5T is priced from $70,900. The Luxury and Sportline option packs add another $13,000 to that, plus the usual on road costs.

Overall, I enjoyed the GV70. Absolutely worth a drive if you are looking for a premium mid-sized SUV.
