We drive the Nissan X-Trail TI-L AWD SUV 2024 Review

Is the Nissan X-Trail any good

Nissan X-Trail TI-L AWD SUV – Nissan upgraded their popular X-Trail in 2023 and last week I drove the top model the TI-L. It comes in both a normal petrol engine and a hybrid version.

2023 Nissan X-Trail Ti-L AWD SUV front 3As far as medium sized SUVs go its quite stylish. It looks larger than it is but has presence.

Inside it has a luxurious feel with Nappa leather seats, soft touch points everywhere and woodgrain dash inserts.

Little things like wireless smart phone connectivity and charging, heated front and back seats, large central touch screen and multiple choices for the drivers’ instruments all add to the luxury feel.

The rear seats and boot are spacious. The TI-L is a five seat only model and that makes a lot of sense.

The X-Trail comes with either a 2.5L petrol engine or a 1.5L turbo hybrid engine. The petrol engine has adequate performance and reasonable economy. The hybrid would be my pick, better economy, with a more responsive and smoother feel.

The X-Trail has a choice of drive modes that includes snow and off-road functions.

Overall, the Nissan X-Trail Ti-L is well worth a look in that medium sized SUV segment. My Aunt owns an X-Trail that is now 20 years old, and she has only just upgraded it. That shows how good they are.
