Nissan Patrol Warrior driven for 2025

Is the Patrol Warrior any good

Patrol Warrior – Nissan Patrol has seen a bit of a resurgence of late in sales. This is mainly because you get a lot for your money compared to the Toyota LandCruiser and Land Rover Defender.

Patrol has morphed of late into more of a highway cruiser, but it still is a capable 4WD. The Patrol Warrior is an altogether different beast.

Its specifically designed and re-engineered by Premcar to provide a level of 4WD capability off the shelf that matches the best in the segment.

On road ride and handling are excellent thanks to the retuned Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC) system and upgraded suspension components.

Off road it’s a weapon. With 50mm more ground clearance than the Ti, improved approach and departures angles and  wider track, it remains composed when others will baulk.

The suspension simply soaked up all the forest trails without fuss. Rock trails and deep ruts are all easily traversed. It gives you a level of confidence in the vehicle that is becoming rarer every day.

It’s hard to beat that lovely 5.6l V8 engine with the bi modal exhaust note. For enthusiasts, It’s simply music to the ears.

Priced from around $114,000 drive away the Patrol Warrior is hard to beat for value.
