Lexus LX – Lexus has updated its premium LX range for 2025. The major news is the addition of an Overtrail model. This has some specific additions that enhance off road capability.
These include:
- fully locking front and rear differentials,
- 18-inch alloy wheels with higher-profile all-terrain tyres, and
- a range of unique design touches.
Other model wide improvements include.
- A larger and fully digital 12.3-inch multi-information display
- Wireless Android Auto joining wireless Apple CarPlay
- Additional USB-C ports
Buyers have a choice between two powerful and refined twin-turbocharged V6 powertrains. A 3.3-litre LX 500d diesel with 227kW and700Nm. And the 3.5-litre LX 600 petrol making 305kW and 650Nm.
Both powertrains are teamed to an intelligent 10-speed automatic transmission, driving all four wheels through a full-time four-wheel-drive system with low-range gearing and a 3,500kg braked towing capacity.
For the buyers looking for opulence the he LX Ultra Luxury features two VIP-style individual rear seats. These come with
- with 48-degree recline,
- exclusive quilting,
- massage function and
- a rear centre console with seat and audio controls.
The LX Ultra Luxury now adds a front wireless smartphone charger to match the existing charger in the rear and is offered exclusively in LX 600 guise.
Pricing for the Lexus LX range starts at $158,700 through to $220,900 plus the usual costs.
