Seltos Sport – Kia Seltos is a small to mid-sized SUV that is predominantly aimed at the urban environment. We have driven a few of them since it was first launched in 2019, and last week I drove the mid-level Sport model.
This was update late in 2022 with refreshed front styling and updated safety and comfort features.
The Sport comes with a 2.0L 4 Cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine combined with a CVT and drives the front wheels only.
The upgrade brought refreshed internal layout a dual 10.25” display that greatly enhances the interior look and feel.
Safety has also been upgraded with:
- Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA),
- Lane Following Assist (LFA),
- Rear-Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA) and
- Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA).
One thing I particularly like is that the Seltos comes with a full-size spare tyre.
Overall, I like the Seltos. Its just the right size for urban traffic and large enough for trips away with a heap of luggage. I do prefer the 1.6T engine on higher spec models, but the 2.0L engine is more than adequate.
Kia Seltos Sport is priced from a little under $33,000 plus the usual costs.
