Kia EV9 GT Line revisited for 2024

Kia EV9 – Today we revisit the Kia EV9 GT Line. This large electric SUV is a phenomenon in the market. Wow what a car. The EV9 comes in two models with the GT-Line being the top spec model.

Kia EV9 GT-Line exterior driving 5 There is no mistaking the EV9. It’s a stunning design and people everywhere I took it stopped to look and chat.

The EV9 GT-Line comes with a 99.8 kilowatt hour battery that is good for about 500km. It comes with drive to all four wheels and a one speed reduction gear transmission.

For such a big car, and it is big, its surprisingly nimble and responsive. Its over 5 metres in length and over 2600kg in weight. But it doesn’t feel that big when driving. It certainly feels connected to the road. Its also whisper quiet to drive.

That size makes for a spacious interior. The front seats are especially comfortable with heating and cooling and electronic adjustments.  The dash and central screen is huge and dominates the interior.

I love the interior ambience. It has a premium feel that would be at home on any of the top European brands. I also like the Kia process of using as much sustainable materials as possible in the manufacturing process.

Overall, the EV9 is simply stunning in every aspect.

The likes of Mercedes Benz, BMW , Volvo, and Audi should be looking closely at this EV.

And at a price of only $121,000 plus the usual costs its actually great value compared to what you can get in premium brands.
