Ranger Tremor – With the growing popularity of Utes in the last few years, Ford has introduced a new limited-edition model in Its Ranger lineup. Called the Ranger Tremor.
Ranger Tremor is limited to 1150 units and prices from $69,990 plus the usual costs.
Specific additions include:
- the same suspension upgrades as Ranger Wildtrak X,
- including specially developed Bilstein®Position-Sensitive Dampers with external reservoirs,
- 26mm higher ground clearance and
- 17 inch alloy wheels, AT tyres, wheel arch mouldings and 30mm wider track
- full-time 4WD with Trail Turn Assist, and some features from the Raptor.
- specially designed interior trim that can be easily cleaned
- Special Tremor styling, black Ford oval and Tremor badging features
Ranger Tremor is powered by the 2.0l Bi-Turbo diesel engine. Its Euro 6 compliant. This provides some 150kW of power and 500Nm of torque. As mentioned, it has full time 4WD and a 10 speed Automatic Transmission. One thing to note is that like Wildtrak X, this driveline requires the use of AdBlue® diesel exhaust fluid.
The new model is expected to be available from September, but if you want one I would be talking to your dealer now.
