LC 500 – Luxury sports coupes are becoming like unicorns these days. I had the pleasure of driving the beautiful Lexus LC Coupe 500 with enhancement pack last week. This visually stunning vehicle comes in a choice of both convertible and coupe as well as two engine choices.
With Jaguar announcing they won’t build the F Type anymore; the LC 500 Coupe is one of the last luxury coupes available along with the Corvette Stingray.
This is a car that simply attracts attention everywhere. From its deep V8 burble to its beautiful design.
Its surprisingly comfortable inside with everything you would expect. The Lexus LC 500 Enhancement Pack is a $15,000 option that adds another layer of comfort.
Visibility is a little restricted and I still don’t know why they bother with two rear seats.
But the beauty is in the driving. Its bigger than you expect but so easy to drive. The five litre V8 engine has more than enough performance to keep all drivers engaged. It will do a 0-100 kilometre per hour time of less than five seconds and top out at 270kilometres an hour.
But this is a car for enjoying, not necessarily racing.
Every once in a while, I get spoiled doing these reviews and the Lexus LC 500 Coupe was definitely a pleasure to drive
