Ford Ranger Tremor added to model range

Ranger Tremor  – With the growing popularity of Utes in the last few years, Ford has introduced a new limited-edition model in Its Ranger lineup. Called the Ranger Tremor.

Ford Ranger Tremor front quarter 1 Ranger Tremor is limited to 1150 units and prices from $69,990 plus the usual costs.

Specific additions include:

  • the same suspension upgrades as Ranger Wildtrak X,
    • including specially developed Bilstein®Position-Sensitive Dampers with external reservoirs,
    • 26mm higher ground clearance and
    • 17 inch alloy wheels, AT tyres, wheel arch mouldings and 30mm wider track
  • full-time 4WD with Trail Turn Assist, and some features from the Raptor.
  • A specially designed interior trim that can be easily cleaned
  • Special Tremor styling, black Ford oval and Tremor badging features

A Euro 6 compliant 2.0l Bi-Turbo diesel engine powers the Tremor. This provides some 150kW of power and 500Nm of torque. As mentioned, it has full time 4WD and a 10 speed Automatic Transmission. One thing to note is that like Wildtrak X, this driveline requires the use of AdBlue® diesel exhaust fluid.

They expect the new model to be available from September, but if you want one, you should talk to your dealer now.
