Released to coincide with their sponsorship of the Kia Australian Open, the updated Sorento has several comfort, safety, and ride upgrades.

The Sorento comes in choice of either a FWD Petrol with an 8 Sp AT or AWD diesel with an 8 Sp DCT.

There has been a mild exterior redesign to now look more like the Stunning EV9, with some new exterior colours to choose from.

The Sorento has always been amongst the best in class for ride and handling, but now comes with a revised suspension tune from engineering guru Graeme Gambold. The latest model feels tighter, and more responsive with selective damping depending on road conditions.

You can feel the differentiation between body control and ride comfort.  It will put many lower priced European SUVs to shame in its class.

The other main area of improvement is in infotainment and connectivity. There is a larger 12.3 inch curved central screen, like the EV9, with OTA upgrades, and a clever Kia Connect App that allows some remote functionality depending on the model.

All models also now come with a dial transmission which tidies up the interior.

Kia Sorento is priced from $50,680 through to $68,590 for the AWD GT Line version and that is stunning value.
