]]> Seltos GT-Line – Kia Seltos became an instant success when first launched in 2019. Kia updated the range in late 2022 and we recently drove the Sport Plus and GT Line models. 2023 Kia Seltos Group These represent perhaps the two popular variations in the range. The Sport+ is a front wheel drive with a 2.0L petrol engine and a CVT.

The GT Line has the clever and sporty 1.6L Turbo petrol engine, AWD, and an 8 speed AT.

The Sport Plus model comes with a long list of standard features as well as the complete suite of safety features.

The GT Line comes with all the bling such as heated and ventilated leather front seats, hated steering wheel and  wireless phone charging.

Either vehicle is an ideal size for urban runabout and weekend traveler. Both vehicles are comfortable and quiet to drive.

The interior is well laid out with both models having the larger central screen. Being a KIA, the build quality is excellent. Also all models come with a full size spare tyre which is important.

I prefer the 1.6L Turbo with the traditional AT as well as the AWD and that is available in the sport Plus model as well. Its zippy, economical and brings a edge of fun to the driving experience.

Kia Seltos is priced from a touch under $30,000 through to  a bit under $45,000 plus the usual costs.
