I especially like the front grill and sabre tooth style front headlights.

Inside its comfort all the way. I love the low set sports steering wheel. Its thick and provides direct feedback.

Above that sits the 3D digital dash, which is different and really cool!

The 308 GT Sport PHEV is powered by a 1.6L turbo petrol, hybrid engine with enough performance to keep most people happy. It has long legs on the motorway, cruising easily and is zippy around town.

The electric range is about 40km which seems low but the 308 charges quickly and if you set it up right you can charge it a couple of times during the day. I also like the fact that you can select when you use the EV portion.

The 308 comes with little luxuries like wireless smart phone connectivity, automatic LED matrix headlights and a massage seat for the driver.

The Peugeot 308 GT Sport PHEV is priced from around $65,000 plus the usual costs and is ideal for buyers that want something just a little bit different.

The GT Premium wagon is the top model in the range and with extra room throughout over the hatch I believe the best.

The 308 is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine delivering 96 kilowatts of power and 230 Newton metres of torque. It is paired with the impressive eight-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission (EAT8).

On the road it drives well above what those figures may indicate as well as an almost limousine like ride..

Inside its sumptuous. Leather seats cocoon the occupants, the sports steering wheel and I Cockpit design allow for engaged driving style.

The digital driver instrument panel is 3d with the ability to configure it to the drivers desires. Along with this the central screen also has multiple configurability, perhaps too much.

In a world that is all about SUVs or EVs, having estates like the Peugeot 308 GT Premium is rewarding. It like art in many ways.

Priced from $50,490 its for buyers that appreciate beauty and something just a little bit different.
