IONIQ 5 EPIQ N-Line – Over the last few weeks we have had a lot of EVs and this week I’m driving the Hyundai IONIQ 5 EPIQ N-Line. That basically means the top of the range with the option pack as well as the digital rear view mirrors.

The IONIQ 5 has been around for a few years now and was updated late last year.

The EPIQ comes with an 84-kilowatt hour battery. It also comes with twin motors and one speed reduction gearing.

Combined power and torque is 239 kilowatts and 350 Newton metres. Range on the N-Line AWD version is around 500 kilometres.

This provides enough performance and driving the IONIQ 5 is smooth and quiet.

The N-Line comes with

exclusive front and rear bumpers,
body-coloured cladding and wheel arches,
exclusive 20-inch wheels,
and more

Inside Its comfortable and reasonably spacious. N-Line bling highlights add to the overall ambience.

One feature that took a little getting used to is the digital mirrors. They sit inside the car and habit says you look where the external camera is not the screens. They do provide excellent clarity though and are great once you adjust your habits.

Pricing for the Hyundai IONIQ 5 EPIQ N-Line with the digital mirrors is from around $95,000 plus the usual costs and that’s a lot of money.
