For those listeners that have been there you know what I’m talking about. For those that haven’t been yet, definitely put it on your list.

Essentially, the wagon with the boot replaced by a tub is the Grenadier Quartermaster.

It carries the same smooth and powerful straight six BMW engines in petrol and diesel with the same ZF transmission.

INEOS has extended Quartermaster Ute chassis by 305mm which gives a tub length of 1564mm and width of 1619mm. The Quartermaster Ute Payload is 832kg. It will still tow 3500kg. The tailgate is strong and can support 225kg when open.

We put the Quartermaster through a mix of long on road sections, many dirt tracks and private farm trails as well as some punishing off road tracks and climbs.

I found that the Grenadier Quartermaster fulfilled what was asked of it without fuss.

Very few vehicles match INEOS’s combination of refined and composed on-road ride and handling with off-road capability. Think of a LandCruiser 79 series Ute for capability with Land Rover Defender Luxury and ride and handling.

The Quartermaster sits almost in its own unique segment. I have to say I loved the Grenadier Quartermaster Dua Cab Ute. Its awesome.
