Ioniq 6 has a four-door coupe style that is egg shaped. There is a touch of Audi TT Coupe in there, but it stands alone in terms of edgy design.

I drove the top model the EPIQ.

Inside the IONIQ 6 is spacious and minimalistic.

The front seats are particularly comfortable and the seat back design allows maximum` rear seat leg room. Head room in the rear is a little tight for taller passengers though.

In front of the driver is a dual tablet style screen layout. One for the drivers information, The second for the central touch screen.

It takes a little while to get used to the side digital rear view mirrors.  They sit inside the cabin with a camera outside.

You find yourself looking where the cameras are out of habit. However, they are functional and provide excellent visibility.

Another unusual feature is the column mounted transmission stalk.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 Epic is good for about 430km in real life from its 77.4 kilowatt hour battery. Around town the economy rate was about 18 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometres. That’s pretty good.

The price of a Hyundai IONIQ 6 starts from around $85,500 dollars, in addition to the usual costs.
