My top three are

At number three is the sanctimonious right hand lane hugger. Look ahead at a traffic jam and almost always there will be a driver hogging the right hand lane just sitting there.

At number two is the speeders. But not just any speeder. It’s the ‘P” plate driver usually red “P”s in a tradie Ute that is overloaded and going between 120-130km/h.

These guys are just plain dangerous. Usually, their egos exceed by a fair margin their driving ability and their skills are questionable at best.

They will fly up behind a car that is usually overtaking properly, and sit right on their rear bumper, until the front driver moves over after overtaking, then the “P” plate driver will zoom off again.

There is a reason why these drivers figure so highly in road mortality rates.

Top spot for the most dangerous driver goes to the person that is obeying the road rules. The “P” plate driver that is going 80 km/h as they are told to do.

Speed usually isn’t an issue, speed differential is.

Unfortunately, these guys are usually in smaller cars and have 65 tonne trucks barrelling down on them then pulling out sharply to overtake.  Our driver education needs overhauling
