I’ve been asked quite a few times what the difference is and which one would I buy.

Let’s look at what is the same.

They all have the same wheelbase. With a petrol or diesel hybrid engine as well as the same eight speed automatic transmission. All Wheel Drive is standard.

But there are subtle differences.

Lets start with the CX-70. This is pretty much the same as the CX-90 but with only two trim levels Also as a five seat SUV the boot space is huge.

The CX-90 comes with a choice of 6 or 7 seats, and four trim levels. Designed for a larger family with a third row of seats.

Both of these are longer, wider and taller than the CX-80. They were designed more for the American market.

Being designed for Europe, the CX-80 is less bulky in appearance. With the same rear leg room though.

But its body is narrower, which means it’s not quite as roomy inside. The CX-80 comes with four trim levels, a choice six or seven seats and an extra Plug in Hybrid engine choice.

As a mum I can say that all three different models get the Mum and Bub tick of approval
