The CX-60 comes in three different models with a choice of two inline six mild hybrid engines and a plug-in hybrid version.

There are also four option packs, so you can really customise what vehicle you want.

It’s a bold move by Mazda that met with reasonable success for the CX-60.

With a premium interior ambience, it feels quite luxurious.

A standout feature is the 25 inch central screen. This contrasts with a more traditional driver instrument panel

Other luxury touches include:

• heated and ventilated front leather seats,
• wireless smart phone connectivity and charging,
• auto LED headlights with auto high beam function,
• dual zone air conditioning with rear vents and
• heated external mirrors.

The CX-60 drove smoothly. I had the diesel version that allowed for reasonable performance and economy. It’s a mild hybrid only which is interesting as it’s not as economical as you might expect.

Overall the CX-60 is stylish and comfortable, its quiet, smooth yet engaging to drive and has a premium feel about it.
