CUPRA Tavascan – Cupra a brand that is part of the VW group, is releasing the Tavascan in April this year. You can buy this fully electric medium-sized SUV for $60,9990, plus the usual costs.
From the photos, the Tavascan is certainly a striking looking vehicle. And if its anything like other Cupra’s, then it will place driver engagement high on the priority list.
There are two models the Endurance and VZ as well as a number of option packages to allow owners to have more individualisation.
The endurance is a rear wheel drive and the VZ is AWD. Range depends on what model and package buyers chose. The WLTP figures are from 463 through to 534km.
Power available is up to 250kW and 545Nm of torque. The Tavascan VZ will go from 0-100km/h in a reasonable 5.5 seconds.
Interested buyers can pre order now and deliveries start from Mid-April.
Every CUPRA BEV includes a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty~, an eight-year, 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, and the option to purchase affordable pre-paid servicing plans from just $990 RRP for three years#.
The issue for all BEV brands is that there is an increasing supply of models from many brands, all competing for a slowing consumer demand.
