LX Overtrail – Lexus has confirmed that they will bring a rugged 4WD version of their large SUV to our market. Following on from the GX Overtrail, the LX Overtrail expands the product lineup for 2025.
A Lexus spokesperson said that – The LX Overtrail combines luxurious appointments and thoughtful comfort features with the rugged performance of a full-size luxury SUV, delivering outstanding off-road, towing1 and hauling capability,
The LX already has an impressive suite of off-road traction aids including Multi-Terrain Select, Downhill Assist Control, Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Monitor and Active Height Control.
Specific additions include
- Front, centre and rear locking differentials
- 276/70R18 Toyo Open Country all-terrain tyres, and 18 inch alloy wheels
- More aggressive external black highlights and wheel arches and
- A choice of two V6 engines, one diesel and one petrol.
The Lexus LX is based on the all new Landcruiser platform ,with specific Lexus modifications.
The company will announce further details on the 2025 LX range, including LX Overtrail pricing and major specifications across all grades, closer to the introduction later in the first half of this year.
